A Stunning Photo Guide to Skyline Drive’s Northern 55

I still can’t get over the beauty of Shenandoah National Park. We had the opportunity to stay right by Front Royal, Virginia, this past weekend, where the park’s northern entrance is. Despite the winter setting in, the mountains were still beautiful with their smoky blue hues! However, I am thrilled that we caught Skyline Drive’s best colors when we visited at the beginning of November.

Today, I’ll be sharing the beauty of Skyline Drive’s upper 55 miles, starting at Hazeltop Ridge around sunset and ending with the Shenandoah Valley Overlook as night finally set it. If you want to see the lower 50, be sure to check out my other photo guide.
